Commercial License Registration Form

License options

Several licensing options exist:

Options 1-3 allow unlimited access to the scop service (http://scop.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/scop/) over the internet.

Companies that desire faster access to the data (particularly if they are connected to the internet via a firewall) may be interested in an in-house scop server (options 4-5). The computing requirements for such an in-house server are given here.

Instructions for on-line registration

Below is the on-line registration form that allows companies to register for a license at a specified level, or register a change in level.

Once you have completed the form and clicked on the Submit button, you will be deemed to have entered into a license agreement with the Medical Research Council, UK. You can access scop immediately after you have done this. Please record the registration number given. A conformation of your registration details will also be sent to the email address listed. A full licence agreement for signature and return will be sent by normal mail or fax with an invoice for the initial payment.

'Forms' compatible WWW browsers are freely available for most computers. If you have problems with the form mechanism, it is most likely that you are still using an old version of the program and should ask your system support staff upgrade the software. As an alternative, if it is impossible to complete the form directly, you may complete a text version and mail it to us manually. Although we provide this option, we would seriously prefer that you don't use it and instead fill out the form on this page. If you use this method, naturally you are not authorized to use scop until we have received and acknowledged your application.

1. Previous registration ID
If you are using this form to change your licence option, please enter your existing registration ID here, otherwise leave blank. You will be issued a new registration ID to reflect the new agreement.
